Features and Specifications:

Accessibility Compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA

The main priority was ensuring that the platform is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. The implementation included features such as:

  • Scalable fonts and high-contrast color schemes
  • Compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Intuitive navigation and content structure

Accessibility Training

We conducted comprehensive training sessions for university staff on accessibility principles and how to use the platform in an inclusive way. Participants learned about tools and techniques for creating accessible educational materials.

Platform Flexibility

Since the LMS is based on Moodle, it offers a wide range of educational features, including tests, surveys, discussion forums, content repositories, and more. Additionally, it allows easy integration with other tools and systems used at the university.

Summary

The implementation of the LMS platform for the University of Szczecin within the University Center for Accessibility Knowledge was a challenge but also a rewarding experience.
