Project Description: Implementation of a NAS Server with Advanced Configuration

A NAS (Network Attached Storage) server is a crucial component of modern corporate networks, combining data storage capabilities with advanced networking solutions. This project describes the implementation of a NAS server integrated with VPN, firewall, DNS, and SMB for one of our clients.

Features and Specifications:

NAS Server Deployment

Using modern hardware solutions, we deployed a NAS server that serves as a central repository for the client’s corporate data, ensuring fast and stable access for authorized users.

VPN Configuration

To enable secure external access to the NAS server’s resources, we configured a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection. This allows employees to securely connect to the corporate network from anywhere in the world.

Firewall Implementation

Security is our priority. We implemented advanced firewall solutions to protect the client’s data from potential threats, such as unauthorized access or DDoS attacks.

DNS Configuration

By setting up a dedicated DNS (Domain Name System), the client can efficiently manage traffic within their domain, ensuring smooth and effective operation of internet services.

SMB Deployment for Intranet

Using the SMB (Server Message Block) protocol, we enabled the client to share files and printers within the local network. This enhances internal collaboration and ensures fast and reliable access to resources.
